St. Mary’s Church, a magnificent 15th Century Anglican Church, referred to by many as the Cathedral of North Yorkshire.
We are very fortunate here in Thirsk, we still have a traditional 1 screen cinema run by volunteers 7 evenings a week where you can get an ice cream during the showing.
We also have a sizeable leisure centre with a modern fully equipped gym and a clean, well maintained swimming pool.
Thirsk Racecourse is only a 5 minute walk from The Poplars.
